Edgar Davids helps stranded fans

Barnet manager Edgar Davids helped stranded supporters after their coach broke down on the M6.

The former Netherlands international helped the 36 fans get home after spotting them on the roadside standing next to their faulty vehicle.

The 40-year-old dropped his team off at a service station before heading back to the supporters on the team bus to pick them up and wait with them until a replacement coach arrived.

"It was the least I could do," The Sun quotes Davids as saying. "No man left behind."

Davids's rescue came following their 3-2 defeat to Accrington Stanley.
