Neymar 'racially abused' by Barcelona supporters

Barcelona forward Neymar was racially abused by his own supporters following the club's 1-0 loss against Granada on Saturday night, according to a report.

Neymar was reportedly racially abused by his own supporters following Barcelona's 1-0 defeat at the hands of Granada on Saturday night.

A small group of Barca fans awaited the team at the Camp Nou following the game and greeted the players with abuse, according to Football Direct News.

The same report suggests that foul language was aimed at the squad, with the worst of the abuse being directed towards Brazilian forward Neymar, who was said to be the victim of monkey chants.

A clip obtained by Spanish newspaper AS captures a number of the verbal attacks, including one angry fan shouting "you are only thinking of the World Cup" to a passing Lionel Messi.
