Barcelona's Gerard Pique mocked on Twitter for wearing 'medieval knight' jumper

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has made headlines for his dress sense as opposed to his style on the pitch after arriving at Camp Nou last night wearing a medieval knight-style jumper.

The 27-year-old was filmed by television cameras entering the ground donning a dark grey jumper, complete with an unusual hood.

Later on in the evening, Barcelona managed to come from behind to secure a 3-1 victory over Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League, but Pique's jumper remains one of the major talking points from last night's game.

On Twitter, a number of fans took the opportunity to poke fun at the defender's attire, with many suggesting that he could be a new character in fantasy drama Game of Thrones.
