Barcelona star Andres Iniesta announces birth of son Paolo Andrea

Barcelona star Andres Iniesta has added a son to his brood after his partner Anna Ortiz gave birth at the weekend.

The Spanish midfielder announced the news on Twitter that he and his other half have welcomed son Paolo Andrea into their family.

The news comes just days after Barcelona sealed a 3-1 victory over Athletic Bilbao to win the Copa del Rey trophy.

Iniesta tweeted: "Hello everyone! Paolo Andrea has arrived, mum and baby are both doing great! I couldn't be happier!"

Iniesta and his partner are also parents to four-year-old daughter Valeria.
