Reports: Chelsea fans chant racist abuse

Accounts on Twitter claim that some Chelsea fans sung racist songs as they left the Emirates Stadium last night.

A number of Chelsea supporters have been accused of chanting racist songs as they left Arsenal's Emirates Stadium last night.

According to reports on the social networking site Twitter, Tottenham Hotspur received the brunt of the abuse on the London Underground, but some of the songs were even aimed at Chelsea duo Samuel Eto'o and Ashley Cole.

Captain John Terry was also said to be the subject of the chants. In relation to an incident that happened back in 2011 where he was found guilty of racially abusing Anton Ferdinand by the Football Association, they sung: "He says what he wants, he says what he wants, John Terry, he says what he wants."

In regards to London rivals Spurs, lyrics about Adolf Hitler and the gas chambers of Auschwitz were heard.

The Blues had made the trip to the their fellow Londoners Arsenal for a last-16 League Cup tie, which they won 2-0 thanks to goals from Spanish duo Cesar Azpilicueta and Juan Mata.
