Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny proposes to girlfriend Marina Luczenko

Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has announced that he and girlfriend Marina Luczenko are engaged.

The Poland international's other half accepted his marriage proposal during a gathering with friends and family this week.

The 25-year-old shared a photo of the celebrations on Instagram and added the caption: "I'm delighted to confirm that my beautiful @marina_official said 'yes'!!!"

On the pitch, Szczesny is expected to fight for his place between the sticks after Arsenal signed goalkeeper Petr Cech from Chelsea last month.
