Lukas Podolski 'hits German track with Mercedes F1 driver Nico Rosberg'

Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski has reportedly switched his focus from the Gunners' pre-season by taking Mercedes Formula 1 driver Nico Rosberg on a drive around a German track.

The 28-year-old attended a promotional event at the Nordschleife track ahead of this Sunday's German Grand Prix.

The frontman is said to have reached speeds of 170mph with Rosberg as a passenger in a German DTM touring car, according to the Daily Mail.

Podolski also managed to meet Rosberg's teammate Lewis Hamilton, who topped the first practice session ahead of the German GP today.
