Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has reactivated his account on the social networking site Twitter.

The 21-year-old left the site in June of last year after he had been accused by other members of testing positive for cocaine - claims that have been proved to be false.

However, despite reports that he would never rejoin, the England international tweeted this afternoon: "Great to be back on Twitter."

Wilshere is currently out injured with an ankle injury, but speculation has claimed that he could return early next month.
