Arsenal star Olivier Giroud models style on David Beckham

Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has revealed that he takes inspiration from David Beckham with regards to his style.

Beckham, who retired from football in 2013, is widely known for his interest in fashion as well as his ability on the pitch due to numerous clothing campaigns.

Giroud is also known for his well-groomed image and the Frenchman has revealed that men back in his homeland try to recreate his hair quiff.

"David Beckham is a top man," Giroud told GQ Style. "I love the guy and what he can show in terms of style as well. He's really classy, an icon.

"Yes, they try to do the quiff. Especially in France, I see a lot of them. It is funny because they try to imitate me, but it is always a pleasure."

Teammates Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez posed alongside Giroud during the GQ photoshoot.
