Andre Santos charged with dangerous driving

Arsenal defender Andre Santos has been charged with dangerous driving, Scotland Yard revealed today.

Santos is alleged to have been driving at speeds of up to 130mph before being arrested on August 17.

The 29-year-old was released on bail, which he answered yesterday to be charged with dangerous driving and driving without due care and attention.

The trial will take place at Hendon Magistrates' Court on September 27 and could see the defender jailed for up to two years.
