Adverse weather conditions cause Ajax's training dome to collapse

Ajax's training ground reportedly collapses to the ground due to a storm.

Ajax were forced to make changes to their training session when strong winds caused their inflatable dome complex to collapse.

While the UK has been plagued by storms, the Dutch club has also dealt with difficult conditions ahead of their cup clash against amateur side ASWH.

Manager Frank de Boer decided to move his players out of the reported £2m complex when the walls began to rattle due to fierce winds, which soon after caused the dome to fall to the ground.

"This was a good choice to leave [the building]," De Boer told the club's official website. "A storm is the worst circumstance in which to train."

Nobody suffered injury when the dome collapsed.
