Balotelli feels "empty" over burglary

Mario Balotelli has said that he feels "empty" after his Porshe and items of gold jewellery were stolen from his house.

The AC Milan star returned home from dinner with his brother Enoch to discover that he had been burgled.

It has been reported that the thieves came away with thousands of pounds worth of watches and necklaces, while also stealing his £100,000 sports car, which was later found abandoned.

The former Manchester City ace took to Twitter to express his disappointment over the incident by writing: "I feel empty! No emotions. But always fighting for the few people I love. They deserve it."

The 23-year-old was the subject of an attempted mugging earlier this week after he chased down a thief who had swiped his mobile phone outside a nightclub.
