Louis Smith eyes 2015 World Gymnastic Championships

Louis Smith expresses an ambition to earn a place in Team GB for next year's World Gymnastic Championships in Glasgow.

Louis Smith believes that his performances for England at the Commonwealth Games can earn him a recall to Team GB in time for the 2015 World Gymnastic Championships.

Smith ended a two-year hiatus and returned to the sport for the first time since the London Olympics in 2012 to help his nation win gold in their team event at the Hydro.

Now, the 25-year-old has earmarked a return to Glasgow for next year's World Championships.

"I'm content with what I have done in the short time I gave myself to get back," he told BBC Sport. "I have now set myself a benchmark of how to get back in the Great Britain team for 2015."

The Peterborough native also claimed a bronze after finishing third in this year's pommel horse.
