Dyson moves into contention at Joburg Open

Simon Dyson has moved into contention at the top of the Joburg Open leaderboard after a round of 67 on Friday.

The Englishman is one of three players to sit a shot adrift of leader Wallie Coetsee, with the South African registering an eagle during his second-round score of 65 to reach the midway point at 12-under-par.

Anthony Wall is handily placed in fifth, two shots off the lead, while a second successive round of 67 from Welshman Stuart Manley ensured that he has a chance going into the weekend.

George Coetzee is one of 10 players on eight-under-par, while in-form Andy Sullivan is only five away from the leader after seven birdies during his second round.
