Lucas Bjerregaard joins Justin Rose in lead at Hong Kong Open

Bjerregaard joins Rose at top of Hong Kong leaderboard

Justin Rose and Lucas Bjerregaard will go into the final round of the Hong Kong Open with a four-shot lead over the rest of the field.

Englishman Rose followed up back-to-back scores of 66 with a third-round 64 that included two eagles, but the day belonged to world number 285 Bjerregaard, who moved himself into contention.

The Dane suffered a late blow after bogeying the final hole, but eight birdies was enough to help him move alongside Rose, who sits 278 places above him in the world rankings.

Anirban Lahiri is in third spot, with Indian compatriot Jeev Milkha Singh and in-form Matthew Fitzpatrick sitting in a tie for fourth position.

A round of 65 from Patrick Reed has seen the American move up 15 places into a tie for ninth place.
