Kuchar chips in to win at RBC Heritage

Matt Kuchar has claimed victory at RBC Heritage in dramatic fashion as he chipped in from a bunker on the final hole of the course.

The American edged out Luke Donald by just one shot to win the title as he fired a seven-under round of 64, posting an overall score of 11-under to win the tournament.

Kuchar's victory did look unlikely as fell even with Donald on 10-under on the 17th as he three-putted with the Englishman behind him on the course in South Carolina.

However, he managed to pull off the incredible shot to edge ahead and Donald was unable to match him in the final three holes, allowing the 35-year-old to claim the trophy.

The victory was Kuchar's first tournament win of the year.
