Justin Thomas has recorded a final-round 69 to claim a four-shot victory at the Bridgestone Invitational.
The American had held a three-shot advantage at the start of Sunday's play, and a conservative round was enough to seal the win at Akron as each of his nearest challengers faded away throughout the closing hours of the World Golf Championship event.
Rory McIlroy had gone off in the final group with Thomas but the Northern Irishman ended the event in a share of sixth spot after a closing 73, while England's Ian Poulter finished in a tie for 10th position after shooting a 74.
Kyle Stanley finished as runner-up with a 68, while both Thorbjorn Olesen and Dustin Johnson registered rounds of 64 to finish alongside each other in third place.
US Open champion Brooks Koepka secured a top-five spot with a 67, but Australia's Jason Day - Thomas's nearest challenger at one stage - dropped five shots in his closing six holes to finish in 10th place.
