Jason Day shoots 66 to lead World Cup of Golf

Australia's Jason Day leads the World Cup of Golf by one shot after shooting a third-round 66 in Melbourne.

Jason Day has recorded a third-round 66 to move into the lead at the World Cup of Golf in Melbourne.

The Australian recorded just one bogey in an impressive display to open up a one-shot advantage over Denmark's Thomas Bjorn.

American Matt Kuchar hit a second successive round of 68 to move into third place, while Italy's Francesco Molinari finished four shots off the lead after a 66.

Graeme McDowell produced a four-under-par round of 68 to end the day in sixth, with home favourite Adam Scott one shot behind in a tie for eighth spot.

In the team event, one shot separates Australia and USA at the top of the leaderboard, with Japan six shots further adrift in third.
