Alex Noren holds on to win Scottish Open

Sweden's Alex Noren has won the Scottish Open by one stroke from Tyrell Hatton at Castle Stuart.

Although Hatton's final round of 69 was good enough for second place at Inverness, the Englishman has now earned a place at The Open, which gets underway at Royal Troon on Thursday.

Nicolas Colsaerts will also play at Troon after an eagle and five birdies on the back nine saw the Belgian card a 66 and take one of the four places available for next week's Major.

The remaining Open Championship places went to Scot Richie Ramsay and Italian Matteo Manassero after they both finished in the top 12.

Noren produced a steady round and his birdies at 12 and 15 were enough to see him take the title.
