Van Pelt lands Perth title

Bo Van Pelt has consolidated his overnight lead to claim the Perth International title this morning.

Van Pelt, 37, led by one shot from fellow American Jason Dufner heading into the final round and won the $2m (£1.3m) prize thanks to a round of 67.

US Ryder Cup star Dufner could only card a 69 to finish two shots adrift of Van Pelt on 14-under-par.

Spain's Alejandro Canizares took third place on 11-under ahead of New Zealand's Michael Hendry in fourth place.

Paul Casey of England was a big mover on the final day, shooting a four-under 67 to share fifth place with four others.
