Englishman Ian Poulter has been named the European Tour's Golfer of the Month for September.
The 36-year-old has been handed the award primarily for his performance at the recent Ryder Cup in Chicago, where he won all four of his matches against the Americans.
Speaking about the accolade, Poulter dedicated it to his European teammates.
"This accolade is for all of us. The Ryder Cup will always be very special to me because of the pure pride and passion it brings out in everyone and I am already looking forward to Gleneagles in 2014," he said.
Poulter has yet to win any of golf's Major titles.
