Louis Oosthuizen jumps into lead in Durban

South African Louis Oosthuizen has snatched the lead at the Volvo Golf Champions tournament after a eight-under 64 round on day two of the competition in Durban.

Oosthuizen headed into today's play adrift of leader Thongchai Jaidee but the South African hit eight birdies to give himself an overall one-shot lead of 12-under.

Thongchai looked likely to remain at the top after clinching an eagle putt on the eighth hole but he instantly bogeyed the ninth to drop his momentum.

Scott Jamieson sits in joint-second place, while Ireland's Paul Lawry sits six shots behind in fourth.
