Rory McIlroy confident of Tour victory in Shanghai

Former world number one Rory McIlroy believes that he is "capable" of winning the World Golf Championships-HSBC Champions title in Shanghai this week.

The Northern Irishman, who has had an inconsistent season so far, heads into the tournament after beating Tiger Woods in an exhibition in China on Monday.

"I feel like I'm capable of winning this golf tournament," BBC Sport quotes McIlroy as saying.

McIlroy has secured three top-five finishes at the Sheshan course in the past.
