Matt Kuchar had confidence in winning chip shot

Matt Kuchar reveals that he was confident that he could hole the chip shot from the bunker on the 18th to win him the title at RBC Heritage.

Matt Kuchar has admitted that he was confident that he could chip in on the final hole to claim victory at RBC Heritage.

The American claimed the title in dramatic fashion as he bounced back from three-putting on the 17th to hole an incredible shot from the bunker on 18th to just edge out Luke Donald.

Kuchar told reporters: "I wasn't too disappointed to end up in that front greenside bunker on 18.

"I knew it was a pretty easy up and down. I said 'I'm about due to make one of these' and it was so cool to see that thing disappear at the end."

The win at RBC Heritage was Kuchar's first title of 2014.
