Eduardo de la Riva takes Andalucian lead

Eduardo de la Riva has taken the surprise lead at the halfway stage of the Andalucia Open in Marbella.

The Spaniard built on his opening round of 67 with a score of 69 to leave him eight-under-par.

Fellow countrymen Pablo Larrazabal and Miguel Angel Jimenez are amongst five players who are just one shot behind.

Overnight leader Matteo Manassero, who fired a course record-equalling 64 on Thursday, hit a 73 to move him down to seven-under.

Ireland's Damien McGrane and Englishman Tommy Fleetwood are both also one shot back from De la Riva.
