Poulter gives himself Open chance

Ian Poulter has put himself in contention for the Open Championship after a strong final round at Muirfield.

The Brit started the day on five-over-par, but managed to end one-over thanks to a four-under round of 67.

Poulter holed an eagle followed by three birdies to put him on even-par heading into the final six holes.

However, a bogey on 16th marred what was an otherwise impressive afternoon.
