Rubens Barrichello: "If there is an opportunity, I'm in"

Rubens Barrichello has fuelled speculation regarding a possible return to Formula 1 in 2014 by stating that he will take an opportunity if one is presented to him.

The 41-year-old, who left F1 in 2011, has been heavily tipped to sign for Sauber.

Responding to the rumours, the Brazilian tweeted: "Lot's of things have being said this week about a possible F1 return. The truth is: 'if there is an opportunity, I'm in'."

Barrichello started in 322 grands prix during spells with Jordan, Stewart, Ferrari, Honda, Brawn and Williams.

Since leaving F1, he has raced in the IndyCar Series and has taken part in the Stock Car Brasil championships.
