Marcus Ericsson expecting Sauber to bounce back at Chinese Grand Prix

Ericsson expecting Sauber to bounce back

Marcus Ericsson believes that Sauber will be able to recover from their poor performance at the Malaysian Grand Prix with a good result in China.

Both of the Swiss team's cars finished in the points at the opening round in Australia, but Ericsson crashed out of the race in Sepang early on, while Felipe Nasr finished in 12th place after suffering handling problems.

However, the Swede is confident that he and his teammate can deliver a strong race for Sauber in Shanghai.

He told reporters: "The track in Shanghai is a circuit I know from last year, but it is not an easy one with a mixture of high-speed and low-speed corners.

"The weather conditions will be different, as it is not as hot as in Sepang, which will also have an influence on the tire management.

"I have a good feeling traveling to China, because we have a competitive car. We are looking forward to getting to Shanghai to continue improving as well as scoring points again."

Sauber failed to score a point in the 2014 season.
