Bernie Ecclestone has no plan to retire yet

Bernie Ecclestone says that he has no plan to retire as the Formula 1 boss yet.

Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone has insisted that he has no plan to retire any time soon.

The English billionaire, who turns 82 on Sunday, is keen to continue in his current role for a few more years.

"Eventually I'm going to go, one way or another," he told BBC Sport.

"But as long as I feel I can deliver, and the shareholders are happy for that to happen, I will stay. When I can't, I'll give them plenty of notice."

Ecclestone is currently facing a £250m lawsuit from German bank BayernLB.
