Mercedes, Pirelli reprimanded over Spain tyre test

Mercedes and Pirelli are reprimanded after being found guilty over Spain tyre test.

Mercedes and Pirelli have been reprimanded after being found guilty of conducting a three-day tyre test in Spain.

The verdict comes following a hearing in Paris yesterday after Red Bull and Ferrari made complaints over the 1,000km test that took place after the Spanish Grand Prix.

Mercedes faced the possibility of being suspended for the upcoming British Grand Prix, or a points deduction in the constructors' championship.

However, the FIA's international tribunal has announced that they have received a reprimand, while also being suspended from next month's Formula 1 young driver test.
