Lewis Hamilton: 'I couldn't have won Japanese Grand Prix without fans'

Lewis Hamilton pays tribute to fans

Lewis Hamilton has said that he could not have won the Japanese Grand Prix without the support of his fans.

Hamilton bounced back from the disappointment of the Singapore Grand Prix, when he retired after 33 laps, by winning the next race in Suzuka.

After being shown the chequered flag, Hamilton wrote on Twitter: "To all the #TeamLH fans here today, couldn't have done it without you."

Hamilton has now extended his lead at the top of the Driver Rankings to 48 points.
