Nico Rosberg fastest in third practice in Hungary

Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg records the fastest time in the third practice session ahead of Sunday's Hungarian Grand Prix.

Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg has finished two thousands of a second ahead of Max Verstappen to top the standings in the third practice session ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix.

The German came out on top in the second session on Friday and he maintained his edge over the field with another impressive performance on Saturday morning.

Red Bull's Verstappen will take plenty of confidence from finishing so close to the championship leader, with teammate Daniel Ricciardo finishing ahead of Lewis Hamilton.

The Ferrari pair of Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel were fifth and sixth respectively, while British driver Jolyon Palmer was 10th in the Renault.

Jenson Button could only finish in 13th position in the McLaren, six places below teammate Fernando Alonso.
