Kimi Raikkonen to remain at Lotus?

Lotus have indicated that driver Kimi Raikkonen will remain with the team for the 2013 Formula 1 season.

The British-based team concluded a video posted on their Twitter account with the words: "Kimi Raikkonen and Lotus F1 team in 2013. The story continues."

Raikkonen won the 2007 Formula 1 championship before leaving the sport for the world rally championship.

The 33-year-old returned to Formula 1 at the start of the year with Lotus and he has produced a strong of consistent performances that currently leave him sitting third in the drivers' standings.

An official statement regarding Raikkonen's future is expected later on Monday.
