Raikkonen: 'I'm to blame for poor qualifying'

Lotus driver Kimi Raikkonen has accepted the blame for his poor performance in qualifying for Sunday's Korean Grand Prix.

The Finn was left with one set of tyres in the final session but could only manage the 10th fastest time, although he will start ninth after Mark Webber incurred a grid penalty at the Singapore GP.

Raikkonen told reporters: "I made a mistake on my only set of new tyres in the final qualifying session so my lap wasn't fast enough for a better position.

If you look at the long run pace yesterday, we should have a stronger race, but obviously we have to see how the weather turns out.

Raikkonen currently lies fourth in the drivers' standings, 98 points behind Sebastian Vettel.
