Fenerbahce sign Bruno Alves

Fenerbahce have signed Portuguese international defender Bruno Alves from Zenit St Petersburg.

The 31-year-old has put pen to paper on a three-year contract with the Istanbul giants.

According to reports in the Turkish media, Zenit will receive a transfer fee in the region of £4.7m for Alves, who has been capped 63 times at senior international level.

Alves joined Zenit from Porto in August 2010 in an £18.2m deal.
