Vadaine Oliver makes York City switch

York City have confirmed the signing of Vadaine Oliver on a two-year contract.

The 23-year-old will complete the switch as soon as his contract with Crewe Alexandra expires at the end of next month.

The centre-forward started his career with Championship club Sheffield Wednesday, before he joined Crewe in 2013.

However, he was loaned out last season to Mansfield Town, for whom he scored seven goals in 32 appearances.
