Jonsson leaves Wolves?

Wolverhampton Wanderers have terminated the contract of midfielder Eggert Jonsson, according to a report.

Jonsson moved to Molineux in January 2012, but he has only made seven appearances for the League One club.

According to Sky Sports News, the Icelandic player has been allowed to leave Wolves so that he can find a new club ahead of the start of the new season.

His last appearance for the West Midlands outfit came during a Captial One Cup fixture with Northampton Town in August.
