Bristol City in for Sam Baldock?

Bristol City have reportedly tabled a £1.5m bid for West Ham United striker Sam Baldock.

The 23-year-old, who joined the Hammers from MK Dons last summer, has been tipped for the exit door following the arrival of Modibo Maiga from Sochaux.

Baldock has stated his desire to stay at Upton Park and fight for his place.

However, Charlton Athletic have also been credited with an interest and talkSPORT understands that he would be interested in a move to The Valley.

Baldock scored five goals in 23 appearances last season.
