Winston Reid confident of West Ham United improvement

West Ham United defender Winston Reid reveals that he is confident that the team will improve their form sooner rather than later.

West Ham United defender Winston Reid has insisted that he and his teammates are working hard to improve their form this season.

The Hammers are currently one point above the relegation zone in the Premier League table after a winless run of five matches.

Despite their poor start to the campaign, Reid believes that the players are doing everything that they can to turn things around.

"The morale in the camp is fine," he told the club's official website. "We know we've got a job to do and we know we need to improve, not only the players up front but the players at the back to give them a bit of service as well.

"The main thing is that everyone's trying their hardest. We're still the same team who got off to a good start last year, we all know each other and I'm sure things will turn around but they need to turn around quickly."

West Ham return to action on Sunday when they travel to London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.
