West Ham United striker Carlton Cole hopeful of beating Queens Park Rangers

Cole hopeful of beating QPR

West Ham United striker Carlton Cole has backed his team to earn a win over Queens Park Rangers this weekend.

The Hammers are currently in 13th place in the Premier League table with seven points from their opening six games of the campaign.

Despite enduring a difficult start to the season, Cole is confident that he and his teammates can get back to winning ways at Upton Park on Sunday.

"It's going to be a good challenge and hopefully we can get back to winning ways at home with the crowd behind us," he told the club's official website. "They want to see good football and they want to see us win the game - that's what we're going to be setting out to do."

Cole has scored one goal in four games for West Ham so far this season.
