Claudio Yacob joins up with West Bromwich Albion on pre-season tour

Argentine international Claudio Yacob has arrived in Sweden to link up with the West Bromwich Albion squad.

The 25-year-old will now take part in a number of training sessions with the Baggies ahead of his proposed transfer.

It has been reported that the Racing Club captain has already passed a medical and agreed personal terms with the Hawthorns-based outfit.

"This will give Claudio the chance to take a closer look at us, and us at him," sporting director Dan Ashworth told the Express & Star.

Yacob has made three appearances for his country.
