Watford 'eye Wesley Said as Richarlison replacement'

Watford have reportedly identified Dijon forward Wesley Said as an ideal replacement for Richarlison this summer.

Richarlison completed his move to Everton yesterday in a deal which could be worth as much as £50m, reuniting with former Watford boss Marco Silva at Goodison Park.

The Hornets are now looking to reinvest a chunk of that money in finding a replacement for the Brazilian, and HITC reports that they have earmarked Said as a possible candidate.

The 23-year-old scored nine goals and set up four more for Dijon in Ligue 1 last season, helping them to an 11th-place finish in the French top flight.

Said began his professional career with Rennes before moving to Dijon on a permanent basis last summer, while he is also a former France Under-21 international.
