Micky Adams among League Two Manager of the Month nominees

Micky Adams has been nominated for December's League Two Manager of the Month award.

While Tranmere Rovers remain in the relegation zone, under the guidance of Adams they have become more difficult to beat, having collected seven points from a possible 12 over the festive period.

Also on the shortlist is Neal Ardley, who saw his AFC Wimbledon side score a division-high nine goals on their way to winning three of their four outings.

The results achieved by Justin Edinburgh's Newport County have not gone unnoticed, with three victories lifting them into promotion contention.

The final nominee is Graham Westley following three consecutive victories for his Stevenage side over Christmas, which included home wins at the expense of Exeter City and Cambridge United.

The winner of the award will be announced on Friday morning.
