Leicester City's Jak McCourt extends loan at Torquay United

Torquay United have extended Jak McCourt's loan from Leicester City into the New Year.

The 18-year-old's stay at Plainmoor had already been extended by a month after he initially joined back in October. He will now stay with the Gulls until January 4.

The central midfielder has made six appearances for Torquay, who currently sit bottom of League Two.

McCourt is now available for their next game against third-placed Southend United on Saturday.
