Olympic security have calmed concerns after the keys to Wembley were mislaid last week.

Keys used at Wembley Stadium, which is being used to host matches in the Olympic football competition, have gone missing.

The keys were mislaid on Tuesday of last week but detectives have reported that there is no sign of criminal activity and that the relevant locks have been changed.

In fact, Olympic security have insisted that there is no need for concern despite their disappearance.

"There is absolutely no security concern in relation to the stadium as measures were taken immediately to secure all key areas of the venue," police said in a statement.

The national stadium hosted Team GB's victory over the United Arab Emirates on Sunday.
