Agent: 'Will Buckley heading for Sunderland exit'

Will Buckley's agent has claimed that his client is likely to depart Sunderland this month.

The 26-year-old has struggled to establish himself at the Stadium of Light since his arrival from Brighton & Hove Albion in August 2014, having made just 24 appearances.

As a result, the winger's representative Clive Hart confirmed that a move is in the offing.

"It is very likely that he will leave Sunderland," Hart told the Sunderland Echo.

"At the moment we are examining several offers and we will see what happens."

Buckley spent time on loan with Leeds United earlier this season.
