Sebastian Larsson backs Sunderland's chances of winning the FA Cup this year.

Sebastian Larsson has claimed that Sunderland have every chance of winning the FA Cup this year.

The Black Cats take on Arsenal in the fifth round of the competition on Saturday.

"It is rare that anyone outside the top four wins it," said Larsson. "But why not this year?

"For a club that has not got something like the Man City owners backing them it is going to be hard to win the league. So this is the biggest trophy we have a realistic chance in."

Sunderland last won the Cup in 1973 when they famously beat Leeds United 1-0.
