Stoke City 'to sign Queens Park Rangers youngster Peter Skapetis'

Australian youngster Peter Skapetis looks set to move to Stoke City from Queens Park Rangers.

The 19-year-old has been training with Stoke after Rangers told him that he would not be offered a new contract, according to West London Sport.

Last night he appeared to confirm the news, tweeting from @peterskapetis: "Enjoyed my time at QPR and the memories I've had there! Had to make the best decision for my career and that's to sign elsewhere!"

Skapetis has been with QPR for a little over two years and will now link up with former coach Glyn Hodges in Staffordshire.
