Adam: "I'm happy at Stoke"

Stoke City midfielder Charlie Adam has played down speculation that has recently linked him with a summer move away from the Britannia Stadium.

It had been suggested that the Scot could join David Moyes in Spain, particularly because his agent is Kenny Moyes - brother of the Real Sociedad head coach.

However, 29-year-old Adam has insisted that he is "happy" to remain in the Potteries.

"You should not believe everything you read. I'm happy at Stoke and I've got another year on my contract," he told talkSPORT.

Adam joined Stoke from Liverpool for a reported £4m in 2012.
