St Johnstone, Ross County share spoils

Graham Cummins scores a second-half equaliser as St Johnstone play out a 1-1 draw with Ross County in their Scottish Premiership clash.

St Johnstone have come from behind to earn a 1-1 draw with Ross County in their Scottish Premiership match at McDiarmid Park.

Graham Cummins threatened in the opening minutes for the hosts with a strike that was kept out by Scott Fox.

However, it was the visitors who took the lead in the 17th minute when Craig Curran latched on to Liam Boyce's through-ball and slotted an effort past Alan Mannus.

The hosts almost levelled the scores when John Sutton's header deflected kindly into the path of Liam Craig, but he could only turn his strike over the bar.

St Johnstone came close to scoring again five minutes after the break when Cummins struck the post, but just moments later the striker did find the net with an effort into the bottom corner to give his side a point.
